Dr. Courtney’s journey began when she graduated with her Honors Bachelor of Sciences degree in Life Sciences from McMaster University, in Ontario, Canada. She then made the life-changing move to earn her doctorate at Palmer College of Chiropractic, Florida. She excelled in her academics graduating Cum Laude. During this time she became passionate about wellness and prenatal chiropractic care. Dr. Courtney has since treated thousands of patients. She has treated patients from 2 weeks to 90+ years of age providing genuine, compassionate care. Nikki was born and raised here in Brevard County. She left to pursue her degree at FSU where her love for holistic wellness began. Nikki became a licensed massage therapist in 1998, beginning her career in sports massage which led her down the path of orthopedics. After many years of orthopedic massage, Nikki moved back to the Brevard area to start a family and continue following her passion in holistic health. She has since furthered her education receiving advanced training in prenatal/labor/post partum doula, and infant/pediatric massage. Dr. Nate is originally from the eastern shore of Maryland. He was introduced to chiropractic care in high school when he had a football injury that he thought might end the season for him. After having what he knows now to be sciatica, he went to a chiropractor and was amazed with how effective the treatment was. After that, he knew that he wanted to help people the same way that chiropractor helped him.

Dr. Nate earned his Bachelor’s degree in exercise science at Salisbury University in his home state of Maryland. While he was there he assisted in training multiple sports teams on campus including football, baseball, softball, soccer, basketball and field hockey.

After graduating from Salisbury, he attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in Port Orange, Florida. During his time there he took different electives such as Gonstead, Pettibon, Thompson technique and myofascial trigger point therapy to be effective and efficient in treating patients in a variety of ways.

My name is Erica L Sorensen and I have been a massage therapist since 2004. In those years I have worked with Chiropractors, MD’s, Spa’s and an Acupuncturist. I am so excited to be working at Spine by Design who just happen to also be my Chiropractors! I specialize in therapeutic-medical massage. I do enjoy giving hot stone and relaxation massages as well.
